Hello partners, friends and supporters,
After long weeks of work and despite the arrival of new partners like the City of Nice and the official support of Christian Estrosi, President of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region and President of the Métropole Nice Côte d ‘Azur, we will not be on the starting grid of the first NASCAR event of the 2017 season in Daytona, Florida this weekend.
It is of course a great frustration for all who, alongside me, supported this adventure: our partners, our friends and families and all our supporters (French, Belgian, Swiss, American, etc.) and all those who have followed us from many countries around the world.
We feel very grateful for the many friendships that have supported our efforts and I would like to say a very heartfelt thank you again!
This week will be very difficult for us, as we will see images of this race and we will not be there for the 4th time. I thought that after our very good top 10 finish last year we would definitely be on the starting grid, but “C’est la vie” (That is life).
All our efforts will pay off eventually and my team and all our partners are more motivated than ever to continue the adventure and finalize the sponsors we need. Our goal is not only to run again in NASCAR but to have the opportunity to complete a whole season! We will be on the starting grid for the next races this season.
I would like to thank my team who are spending so much of their time helping me and also our sponsors, partners and friends who immediately said yes to support this unique adventure: Wizyoo, Nice City and Christian Estrosi, Stand21, Alban Creative Audiovisual (who is creating a documentary on our adventure), Bell Racing Helmets, Simon Ward Artist, Zeades Watch, Lafayette Racing, Greg Muel, Physical trainer, JF Creations, CIREBOX, Nicolas Pillisser, Aéromagic, Emmanuel Nicolai, Mythic drives, Comartois, Sogno di Cavallino. So, we go forward with hope to race with Uncle Sam in NASCAR very soon.
